The Challenge

SKIMS is scaling globally and needs a search leader to own organic growth end-to-end. You'll build the SEO + GEO/AEO strategy that drives scalable customer acquisition and revenue while embedding search-first thinking across product, creative, and retail teams.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Audit and baseline current organic performance across all markets; identify quick wins in technical SEO and content gaps

Establish measurement framework and reporting cadence with leadership; define organic KPIs tied to revenue impact

3

Map cross-functional dependencies and build operating rhythm with Digital Product, Engineering, Merch, and Creative teams

4

Develop 12-month global SEO + GEO/AEO roadmap with phased priorities and resource allocation

By 6 Months
1

Execute foundational technical SEO improvements; achieve measurable organic traffic and visibility gains across priority markets

Launch AI/AEO experimentation program; test and scale emerging search tactics with clear performance benchmarks

3

Own local listings strategy; integrate store visibility initiatives with Retail and Customer Experience teams

4

Build and train internal search expertise; reduce agency dependency through documented processes and reporting systems

Organic Traffic Growth

Month-over-month and year-over-year organic search sessions across all markets and device types.

Organic Revenue Impact

Revenue attributed to organic search channel, tracked through conversion attribution modeling.

Keyword Rankings & Visibility

Ranking position and search visibility for priority high-intent keywords tied to business goals.

Core Web Vitals & Technical Performance

Site health metrics (LCP, CLS, FID) and crawl efficiency to support ranking and user experience.

Local Listing Performance

Store visibility, local pack rankings, and review metrics across Google My Business and local platforms.

  • You thrive in cross-functional environments and can influence without authority; you build processes that compound over time

  • You're an agency person who's never owned organic growth P&L at a single brand end-to-end
  • You focus only on technical SEO or only on content; this role demands mastery of both plus strategic thinking
  • You can't commit to on-site in LA or prefer remote flexibility as a priority
