Is This Role For You?
- You've spent 10+ years owning social media or digital marketing strategy—ideally with proven success in France and Benelux markets
- You speak French fluently (required) and Dutch or another Benelux language (strong plus); you understand cultural nuances in French/Dutch consumer behavior
- You're comfortable with performance marketing rigor—tracking ROAS, CAC, LTV, and connecting social activity to revenue outcomes
- You've led creative teams, managed agency partnerships, and influenced cross-functional stakeholders at director or senior manager level
- You're a platform native on TikTok and Instagram; you can spot trends, brief creators, and adapt global campaigns for local relevance in real-time
- You're agency-side only or lack hands-on brand/in-house experience; this role requires deep ownership of strategy, not just execution
- You don't speak fluent French or have no experience in France/Benelux markets; regional cultural authority is non-negotiable
- You treat social as a vanity metrics game; if you can't tie social to revenue, pipeline, or business KPIs, this isn't your role
- You prefer fully remote or high flexibility; this is on-site in Paris with regular travel to Belgium and EMEA stakeholders
Interview Process
Phone Screen (30 min)
Recruiter or hiring manager vets your social media portfolio, regional market knowledge, and alignment with role scope
Strategic Case Study (1-2 hours async)

Director Interview (60 min)
Regional Marketing Director or VP EMEA dives into your team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and how you've influenced global strategy from regional insights
Executive Conversation (45 min)
Likely with VP or Chief Marketing Officer; focus on vision for Shark/Ninja social presence in EMEA and your understanding of brand positioning
References & Offer
