Onboard and align your 2-4 person team on strategy; identify skill gaps and hiring needs
Launch 2-3 cohesive campaign series (seasonal, product, or storytelling) that tie to Ritual's equity-centered brand mission and move sales metrics
Implement marketing tech stack (CRM, email, analytics) that provides real visibility into channel performance and customer journey
Develop content calendar and storytelling strategy showcasing producer partners and coffee provenance to build brand loyalty
Mentor team members on growth marketing fundamentals; complete at least one cross-departmental collaboration project (retail ops, cafe experience, etc.)

Is This Role For You?
- You're excited about brand storytelling—especially narratives around sourcing, producer relationships, and social impact—not just vanity metrics
- You thrive leading small teams; you mentor well and care about people's growth as much as campaign performance
- You're a self-starter who can juggle strategy, execution, and systems-building without hand-holding
- You have 5+ years in marketing (preferably B2C, retail, or food/beverage) and can back strategy with data, not guesses
- You're genuinely passionate about coffee or specialty products and understand Ritual's mission beyond the paycheck
- You need remote flexibility or resist on-site collaboration; this role is rooted in SF operations
- You're looking for a pure tactical executor role—this is strategic leadership requiring vision-setting and team building
- You default to vanity metrics (follower counts, impressions) over revenue impact and behavioral insights
- You're uncomfortable embedding equity, justice, and DEI principles into every marketing decision
