The Challenge
ICIS (RELX) needs a strategic marketing leader to drive growth across the Americas by translating global brand strategy into regional campaigns that resonate with commodity market professionals. You'll shape the regional marketing vision while building a high-performing team and directly impact commercial outcomes across North America and LATAM.
Your Mission
Audit current regional marketing performance and competitive positioning; establish baseline metrics for brand awareness and pipeline contribution
Define Americas-specific marketing strategy aligned with global priorities: digital transformation, brand elevation, and growth drivers
Build trusted relationships with regional sales, product, and commercial teams; align on 2026 revenue-driving initiatives
Assess and stabilize current marketing team; identify capability gaps and hiring needs
Launch 2-3 high-impact regional campaigns demonstrating brand elevation and driving qualified pipeline growth (target: 25%+ lift in brand consideration)
Implement marketing ops infrastructure (attribution, CRM integration, reporting dashboards) to prove marketing contribution to revenue
Establish Americas marketing center of excellence for digital and content strategy; document playbooks replicable across North America and LATAM
Deliver quarterly business reviews with measurable impact on sales velocity, customer acquisition cost, and lifetime value

Composite measure of awareness, consideration, and trust among key target segments in Americas markets

Dollar value of closed deals influenced by marketing touchpoints; direct measure of commercial impact

Quarterly pulse surveys and retention rate; indicator of leadership effectiveness and culture strength

- Your background is primarily creative, brand-only, or demand-gen without P&L accountability or revenue contribution tracking
- You prefer hands-on execution over strategic leadership and team building; this role is 60% leadership, 40% strategy
