Your Mission

Establish marketing automation stack and implement lead scoring + nurture workflows; create repeatable demand gen playbook

3

Launch 2-3 high-impact campaigns (content, webinar, paid) targeting life science personas; measure and optimize conversion metrics

4

Build marketing SLAs with sales team; establish weekly pipeline reviews and feedback loops to align commercial priorities

By 6 Months
1

Generate consistent pipeline volume meeting sales targets; optimize CAC and payback period across channels

2

Build and launch 2-3 strategic partnerships or integrations that expand reach into biotech/pharma ecosystems

3

Establish thought leadership calendar and ship 6+ pieces of owned content (case studies, whitepapers, blog); track engagement and pipeline attribution

4

Hire and onboard first growth/marketing team member; document repeatable processes and campaign playbooks for scale

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've built growth marketing functions from zero at 2+ early-stage startups and thrive on ambiguity and rapid execution
  • You have 7+ years B2B SaaS/growth demand gen experience and deep familiarity with enterprise sales cycles, CRM, and marketing automation
  • You're hands-on: you can write copy, design simple creative assets, run paid campaigns, and operate the full funnel-not just strategy
  • You have background in B2B SaaS, AI, or life sciences; you understand the regulatory and technical complexity of biotech/pharma buyers
  • You're analytical and experimental: you obsess over metrics, test continuously, and measure everything against CAC and pipeline impact
Won't Work If
  • You need a large existing team or want to hire 10+ people immediately; this is a solo build role for your first 6 months
  • You're primarily brand/creative-focused or prefer high-level strategy over hands-on execution and campaign operations
  • You lack B2B SaaS or life sciences domain knowledge; the learning curve on regulatory and scientific buyer behavior will be steep
  • You need established processes and proven playbooks; you'll be inventing them here and thriving on iteration beats you
