The Challenge

Ping Identity protects digital identities for 50+ Fortune 100 companies. You'll own how the brand gets discovered across search engines and generative AI platforms—a growing frontier where most B2B tech companies are still figuring it out.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Audit current SEO performance across GA4, GSC, and Conductor; identify top 10 technical SEO quick wins (site speed, indexation, schema gaps)

Establish baseline GEO strategy and audit Ping's visibility in major generative AI platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude); map content gaps

3

Launch 1-2 high-impact technical SEO initiatives (internal linking restructure, schema implementation) with measurable 30-day lift targets

4

Document and socialize SEO/GEO best practices across Web, Campaigns, and Product Marketing teams; align on quarterly priorities

By 6 Months
1

Deliver 15-20% organic traffic lift through technical SEO and content optimization initiatives tracked in GA4

Scale GEO program: secure visibility in 5+ generative AI platforms with optimized content; measure traffic/lead attribution

Own Conductor platform strategy; build automated reporting dashboards and quarterly competitive benchmarking analysis

Drive 3+ cross-functional campaigns with measurable impact (e.g., solution page redesigns, authority-building content for third-party platforms)

Organic Traffic Growth

Month-over-month percentage increase in organic sessions tracked in GA4, segmented by device and content type.

Keyword Rankings

Movement of target B2B keywords in top 10/20/50 positions, measured via Conductor or Semrush, weighted by search volume.

GEO Traffic & Attribution

Traffic and qualified lead volume from generative AI platforms; tracked via UTM parameters and third-party integrations.

Technical SEO Score

Site health metrics: Core Web Vitals, crawl errors, indexation rate, internal link structure health via GSC and Conductor.

Authority & Backlink Growth

Domain authority trend and new high-quality backlinks from industry publications, analyst firms, and third-party platforms.
