The Challenge

Pattern is a fastest-growing ecommerce AI platform processing 46 trillion data points to help global brands scale across 60+ marketplaces. You'll lead their digital advertising strategy team, turning raw performance data into profitable growth for 100+ brand partners.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Audit and optimize all active PPC/display campaigns across Amazon, Walmart, Google, Facebook-identify quick wins worth 10-15% efficiency gains

Establish monthly partner review cadence with 5-10 key accounts, documenting ad spend allocation and performance benchmarks

Master Pattern's internal tools and third-party platforms (Helium 10, Pacvue, Viral Launch)-become the team's go-to expert

4

Build keyword research and bid strategy playbook for new client onboarding

By 6 Months
1

Scale team from managing X to Y campaigns while maintaining or improving ROAS by 20%+

Develop full-funnel attribution model that connects ad spend to downstream customer LTV for 10+ partners

Launch and test 3 new paid channel strategies (TikTok Shop, Tmall, advanced auto-bid tools) with measurable ROI

4

Create internal data dashboard that surfaces top-performing keywords, bidding strategies, and ad creative patterns across portfolio

Quarterly feedback from accounts you manage-track satisfaction with strategy and results delivery.

Ad Spend Allocation Accuracy

Budget recommendations vs. actual spend executed-measure forecast precision and agility to market shifts.

  • You've run paid search/display campaigns at scale (Google Ads, Amazon Ads, Facebook Ads) and can tie spend to revenue
  • You live for data-pivot strategies weekly based on performance signals, not hunches
  • You're comfortable managing client relationships and translating performance data into growth recommendations
  • You want to own a P&L for a portfolio of brand partners and directly impact their growth
  • You're ambitious about learning new platforms (Helium 10, Pacvue, auto-bid tools) and teaching your team
Won't Work If
  • You need 100% remote-this is 3 days/week in Lehi, UT office (hybrid, not flexible)
  • You think strategy is a quarterly planning document-this role is iterative, fast-paced testing and optimization
  • You lack 2+ years of hands-on PPC/display advertising experience or can't speak fluently to ROAS, CPC, conversion rate mechanics

30 min with recruiter-assess background in paid ads, client management experience, and curiosity about ecommerce

Technical Deep Dive

60 min with hiring manager-walk through a PPC campaign you've run, how you'd optimize a failing Amazon Ads account, and your approach to partner communication

Case Study/Take-Home

Analyze mock client data (campaign performance, keywords, bidding) and recommend next steps-60-90 min

Team Interview

45 min with 2-3 team members-assess culture fit, communication style, and how you'd collaborate and delegate

Leadership Conversation

Optional final round with VP/Chief Growth Officer-discuss vision for scaling the advertising function
