The Challenge
Noun is a 9-year-old influencer marketing agency ready to scale. You'll own the growth engine—from strategy to execution—building the pipeline that turns creator economy trends into seven-figure client deals.
Your Mission
Map competitive landscape and define Noun's differentiated positioning across priority verticals (sports, music, fashion, entertainment, lifestyle)
Launch outbound prospecting strategy with target account list, messaging frameworks, and initial pipeline of 20+ qualified opportunities
Establish sales KPIs, pipeline benchmarks, and win-rate goals; implement CRM system or process to track new business metrics
Schedule and conduct initial pitches with 5-10 priority prospects to validate positioning and refine sales narrative
Close 3-5 new enterprise clients, generating $500K+ in new annual contract value
Scale sales team: hire and onboard 1-2 SDRs or Account Executives; establish departmental playbook and accountability framework
Execute integrated marketing strategy: secure 2-3 thought leadership placements, submit awards entries, and represent Noun at 4+ industry events
Develop account expansion strategy with Head of Accounts; identify and close 2-3 upsells from existing clients generating $150K+ incremental ARR
KPIs You'll Own
New Annual Contract Value (ACV)
Total revenue from new client logos closed in the period; target $500K+ by end of Q2.
Sales Pipeline Value
Qualified opportunities in pipeline by stage; maintain 3-5x coverage ratio against quarterly quota.
Win Rate
Percentage of pitches that close; benchmark and improve month-over-month.
Account Expansion ARR
Revenue from upsells, cross-sells, and expanded scope within existing client base.
Sales Cycle Length
Average time from qualified lead to contract signature; optimize for speed without sacrificing deal quality.

- You've only managed inbound pipelines or account management; outbound prospecting and cold-calling terrify you.
- You're not comfortable with commission-based compensation or variable income tied directly to revenue targets.
- You lack genuine interest in influencer marketing, creator economy, or entertainment/media verticals—this industry requires authentic curiosity.
