The Challenge

Moroccanoil is the cult fragrance brand behind the iconic argan oil revolution. You'll own the complete go-to-market strategy for their fragrance portfolio across retail and travel retail-launching products, building campaigns, and driving growth in a brand with serious cultural cachet.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Map fragrance portfolio competitive landscape and identify 2-3 white space growth opportunities aligned with brand positioning

Lead launch strategy for next fragrance product: positioning, pricing, COG analysis, and cross-functional timeline to market

Establish baseline performance metrics for current fragrance SKUs across retail channels and create monthly tracking dashboard

4

Build relationships with Trade Marketing, Creative, Product Development, and Regional teams to clarify workflows and ownership

By 6 Months
1

Execute 2+ fragrance product launches on-time and on-budget with documented in-market performance vs. targets

Develop and implement promotional strategy with reanimation plans for underperforming SKUs; track uplift by channel

3

Create global program launch plans for all retail channels with region-specific customization; measure sell-through lift

4

Build robust competitive intelligence system tracking competitor launches, pricing, and campaigns; feed insights into quarterly strategy

  • You've shipped 2+ consumer product launches and can own strategy, positioning, and cross-functional execution end-to-end
  • You're fluent in data analysis-you build dashboards, track metrics, and make decisions by the numbers, not intuition

  • You have experience in beauty, fragrance, or luxury retail (or adjacent categories with similar pricing/distribution complexity)
  • You're detail-oriented on the hard stuff-packaging copy, claims, regulatory, pricing mechanics-but strategic on the big picture
