The Challenge

Markentive is a boutique digital marketing firm (110 people) hunting for a senior growth consultant who'll own client growth end-to-end using the AARRR framework. You'll drive real acquisition and activation campaigns across dozens of tools while building data-centric cultures inside your client accounts.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Onboard 2-3 new clients onto the growth methodology, mapping their AARRR funnel and identifying quick wins

2

Set up HubSpot/Salesforce automation stacks for assigned clients with lead gen and nurturing flows

3

Execute 3-4 acquisition campaigns (paid ads, email, content, scraping) and hit agreed-upon KPIs

Build internal rapport with dev, UX/UI, and strategy teams; lead 2+ cross-functional project kickoffs

By 6 Months
1

Deliver 40%+ improvement in at least one AARRR metric (Acquisition CAC, Activation rate, Retention, or Revenue) per client

Train 3+ clients on data-centric decision-making; get them fluent in their analytics dashboards

Establish repeatable playbooks for 2 vertical/use-case combinations (e.g., SaaS + LinkedIn, E-commerce + SMS)

4

Mentor 1 junior consultant on your methods; contribute 2 internal learning sessions on wins and learnings

KPIs You'll Own

Client Growth Metrics (AARRR)

Track Acquisition cost, Activation rate, Retention %, Revenue per client, and Referral velocity monthly.

Campaign Performance

Monitor CTR, conversion rate, ROAS, and lead cost across all paid and organic channels.

Client Satisfaction & Retention

NPS, monthly active engagement score, and contract renewal rate for your portfolio.

Operational Efficiency

Time-to-launch for campaigns, toolstack implementation speed, and internal team collaboration velocity.

For You If
  • You've spent 3-10 years in agency/consulting growth roles and want autonomy owning multiple client books
  • You're fluent in AARRR, conversion funnels, and can articulate growth strategies to C-suite stakeholders
  • You live in Google Sheets, HubSpot, and dashboards—data literacy is not optional
  • You view AI (Claude, ChatGPT) as a core operating tool, not a side toy
  • You're hungry to build repeatable playbooks and mentor junior team members
Won't Work If
  • You need complete remote flexibility; this role expects hybrid presence in Lyon
  • You're more comfortable with vanity metrics than unit economics and LTV/CAC ratios
  • You prefer hands-off, high-level strategy over rolling up sleeves to execute campaigns
  • You don't speak professional English or aren't comfortable with international client calls
