The Challenge
Lightspeed Commerce is building hyper-local authority in French hospitality markets. You'll own ground-zero growth in key cities—turning customer relationships into community anchors that attract prospects, influence key players, and keep Lightspeed top-of-mind.
Your Mission
Map and enlist 8-12 'anchor' customers in your assigned cities who'll host and co-host local events
Launch 4 scrappy but high-vibe local events (breakfasts, lunches, networking) with measurable attendance and lead capture
Build a curated local network of 20+ key prospects, influencers, and trade association contacts
Produce and publish 8-12 raw customer story video snippets and case studies ready for sales and social distribution
Own pipeline attribution for all local events and influencer campaigns—link every activity directly to sales metrics
Scale to 12-16 events across your cities with 30%+ YoY growth in attendance and qualified lead generation
Establish monthly data-backed reporting showing event impact on brand engagement, consideration, and closed-won deals
Build a replicable playbook for other regions to scale the local growth model
KPIs You'll Own
Event-to-Pipeline Attribution
Direct link between each local event/campaign and sales-qualified leads, demos booked, and revenue influenced.
Event Attendance & Engagement
Total attendees per event, attendee quality (prospects vs. customers), RSVP-to-show ratio, and repeat attendance.
Social Content Performance
Video snippet views, engagement rate, shares, and sentiment from customer stories and local campaigns.
Local Awareness & Consideration
Brand mention volume, sentiment tracking, and consideration pipeline targets set with IMMs and Field Sales.
Content Production Velocity
Number of story captures, edits, and published assets per month; quality and time-to-publish.

Is This Role For You?
- You have real experience in or deep connections to the hospitality industry—you speak the language of chefs, operators, consultants
- You're a one-person content studio: can shoot, edit, write, and use AI tools to ship fast without a production team
- You thrive outside the office—events, networking, 'boots on the ground' energize you more than desk work
- You're obsessed with data and attribution—you want to prove that your ground-zero work moves the sales needle
- You need a fully remote setup or hate commuting to events and customer sites in your assigned cities
- You're uncomfortable with scrappy solo content creation—you need a full creative/production team to move forward
- You lack hospitality industry connections or experience—this role requires instant credibility in that world
