What you'll do
We’re looking for a motivated, creative, and resourceful Growth & Outreach Intern to help build early momentum for JustCause, a purpose-driven startup focused on community, impact, and meaningful connection. This role is ideal for someone excited about startups, social impact, digital community-building, and early-stage growth.
You’ll help us grow our waitlist, expand awareness, support outreach efforts, connect with potential partners and supporters, and assist with early fundraising and launch preparation. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants real startup experience and the opportunity to help shape growth from the ground up.
What you'll do
Support waitlist growth and early user acquisition
Help with outreach to creators, organizations, communities, and aligned supporters
Research and identify partnership, collaboration, and promotion opportunities
Assist with community-building and audience engagement
Help organize outreach lists, contacts, and follow-up activity
Support early fundraising outreach and campaign preparation
Assist with marketing, messaging, and launch support
Contribute ideas for growth strategies, campaigns, and awareness-building
Help track outreach progress, interest, and early traction
What we’re looking for
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Interest in startups, growth, marketing, outreach, or community-building
Organized, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative
Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
Comfortable with online research, outreach, and relationship-building
Passion for mission-driven work, social impact, advocacy, or community engagement
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an early-stage environment
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Preferred skills
Familiarity with social media, digital marketing, or content outreach
Experience with community engagement, partnerships, or lead generation
Comfort using tools like Google Docs, Sheets, Canva, Notion, or similar platforms
Basic understanding of startups, fundraising, or early-stage business development
Experience helping grow an audience, brand, or online community is a plus
Experience
Previous internship, volunteer, campus leadership, creator, community, or outreach experience is helpful, but not required
This role is a strong fit for students, recent graduates, or early-career candidates looking to gain startup experience
