What you'll do

Accountabilities:

  • Own the marketing strategy end to end, including planning, prioritization, execution, optimization, and measurement across key channels.

  • Audit existing marketing activity during the first months and identify the channels, initiatives, and experiments with the greatest potential impact.

  • Take full ownership of individual marketing channels, building scalable processes and automating repetitive activities before expanding into additional areas.

  • Develop and optimize email marketing, landing pages, conversion rate optimization, performance marketing, social media, retargeting, partnerships, affiliates, and SEO content.

  • Manage and quality-check the work delivered by part-time contractors across content, design, landing pages, social, email, distribution, and paid advertising.

  • Scope projects clearly and delegate work effectively to contractors, agencies, specialist resources, and AI agents while maintaining accountability for final quality.

  • Build, manage, and scale AI-powered workflows and agents for marketing research, content development, analysis, reporting, and automation.

  • Partner closely with the CEO to establish priorities, allocate budgets, evaluate performance, and test new channels or growth opportunities.

  • Develop marketing messaging and content that authentically resonates with busy US families and parents.

  • Monitor channel performance, customer behavior, conversion rates, and campaign results to identify opportunities for optimization.

  • Establish efficient systems and processes that allow marketing activities to scale without unnecessary complexity or bureaucracy.

  • Continuously test new approaches, learn from results, and translate successful experiments into repeatable growth mechanisms.

Requirements:

  • Senior-level marketing experience with a proven track record of owning marketing strategy and execution across multiple channels.

  • Previous experience marketing a B2C SaaS or subscription product, ideally with meaningful ownership across acquisition, conversion, and retention activities.

  • Strong systems-thinking ability, with the capacity to assess the entire marketing funnel and determine where resources will have the greatest impact.

  • Hands-on experience with several relevant channels, such as email marketing, CRO and landing page optimization, Google Ads, retargeting, social media, SEO content, partnerships, affiliates, or Amazon Ads.

  • Strong project and delegation skills, with the ability to brief contractors, agencies, and AI agents effectively and assess the quality of their output.

  • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable taking ownership without extensive supervision or layers of approval.

  • Willingness and ability to remain hands-on, including writing marketing copy, building processes, analyzing performance, and setting up systems personally when required.

  • Demonstrated daily use of AI tools and AI agents for marketing research, content creation, analysis, and automation, with practical examples of how these tools have improved your work.

  • Fast-learning mindset and the ability to quickly adopt unfamiliar channels, tools, technologies, and marketing approaches.

  • Strong analytical and commercial thinking, with the ability to connect marketing activity to measurable business outcomes.

  • Native-level American English, with a natural understanding of how US consumers, particularly families and parents, communicate and make purchasing decisions.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with executives, contractors, specialists, and distributed teams.

  • Comfortable operating in a remote, high-trust, low-bureaucracy environment where autonomy and personal accountability are highly valued.

  • Nice-to-have experience with email marketing at scale, performance marketing, partner/reseller programs, affiliate management, smart-home products, consumer electronics, family technology, hardware, or e-commerce.

Benefits:

  • 100% remote working, providing flexibility to work from your preferred location.

  • High degree of autonomy and freedom to determine how best to solve problems and achieve results.

  • High-trust environment with minimal bureaucracy, unnecessary meetings, and red tape.

  • Flexible time off designed to support sustainable performance and proper time to recharge.

  • Opportunity to work with a small, friendly, collaborative team.

  • Access to a broader network of entrepreneurial SaaS professionals for knowledge sharing, learning, and idea exchange.

  • Opportunity to work with central marketing specialists and increasingly sophisticated AI automation systems.

  • Significant ownership and visibility over marketing strategy, experimentation, and business growth.

  • Opportunity to build a marketing engine and establish scalable systems rather than simply maintaining an existing function.

  • Salary positioned around local market medians for a remote-first environment, with the compensation range shared in writing before the first interview.

  • Inclusive and equal-opportunity workplace committed to diversity, fairness, and respect.
