The Challenge

ILIA Beauty is the leading clean makeup brand disrupting an industry with skin-first formulas. You'll own retailer relationships at scale—managing everything from Sephora to Ulta PDPs, digital assets, and launches across North America in a fast-growth environment.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Master retailer systems (PXM, PIM) and become the go-to point of contact for Sephora/Ulta marketing requests with <24hr response time

2

Execute end-to-end PDP optimization for 2-3 active product launches with zero asset errors and on-time retailer submissions

Build cross-functional relationships with Creative, Social, Sales, and Ecomm teams to streamline asset workflows

4

Establish baseline retailer exposure tracking and marketing calendar management across key North America accounts

By 6 Months
1

Lead 4+ full product launch cycles from copy briefing through post-launch QA and retailer optimization

Own and scale product review program execution (PinchMe, PowerReviews) with measurable syndication lift

Drive in-store activation briefs and field tool execution for 2-3 key seasonal campaigns

4

Build comprehensive retailer performance dashboard tracking digital asset performance, site exposure, and email/social reach

KPIs You'll Own

PDP Submission On-Time Rate

Percentage of retailer assets submitted by deadline across Sephora, Ulta, and secondary partners.

Retailer Exposure (Impressions/Clicks)

Tracked brand visibility across retailer site, email campaigns, social, and app placements month-over-month.

Asset Accuracy (QA Pass Rate)

Post-launch quality checks: percentage of submissions requiring zero retailer corrections or follow-ups.

Review Syndication Volume

Number of reviews generated and syndicated through PinchMe, PowerReviews, and other programs per quarter.

Request Turnaround Time

Average time-to-resolution for ad hoc retailer marketing requests and troubleshooting issues.

  • You're fluent in retailer systems (PXM/PIM) and thrive on detail-oriented project management

  • You write crisp, clear emails and collaborate seamlessly across teams in Slack and beyond
  • You're based on the West Coast (or willing to relocate) and prefer hands-on, operational work over strategy

Interview 1: Retail Marketing Team

Deep dive on past product launches, asset management workflows, retailer system experience, and cross-functional collaboration examples.

Interview 2: Hiring Manager + Cross-Functional Partner

Probably 2-person panel with Retail Lead + Creative/Ecomm stakeholder. Real-world scenario: 'Walk us through a launch that went sideways and how you fixed it.'

Offer + Background Check

Standard beauty/retail reference checks. Contract terms clarified (duration, renewal likelihood, remote flexibility).
