Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You have 1-3 years SEO/GEO or digital marketing experience and crave hands-on client work with visible ROI
  • You're analytical, proactive, and comfortable juggling technical, creative, and business conversations simultaneously
  • You thrive in startup chaos—you'll own projects end-to-end and wear multiple hats (PM, strategist, account manager, ops)
  • You actually care about client success metrics and can translate data into stories and next actions
  • You noticed datashake is lowercased and didn't roll your eyes—you're detail-oriented and get culture fit
Won't Work If
  • You want a siloed specialist role; this is deliberately cross-functional and scrappy
  • You prefer stability over learning; datashake moves fast and feedback is constant and expected
  • You don't speak or read French at a working level (Paris-based, mostly French-speaking team inferred)
  • You see project management as administrative; here it's strategic and business-critical

Interview Process

1

Initial Screen

Recruiter or hiring manager vets SEO/GEO basics, motivation, culture fit. Likely 30 min call.

2

Case Study or Take-Home

You'll analyze a mock client brief, propose audit scope, and present a simple strategy (async or in-meeting).

3

Team Interview

Meet with SEO/GEO lead and 1-2 consultants. Expect scenario questions, project walkthrough, and Q&A on tools/methodologies.

4

Founder/Leadership Chat (optional)

Final round with practice lead or co-founder to discuss vision, growth trajectory, and long-term fit.
