Data Scientist - Marketing Analytics
Reporting to the Head of Digital Transformation, we are seeking a highly technical, hands-on Data Scientist to drive advanced analytics, experimentation, and data science solutions across our marketing and growth initiatives. This role blends deep statistical and engineering expertise with business-facing storytelling, using marketing data as a primary domain of application.
Requirements
- Advanced programming skills in Python or R for data science (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, statsmodels, etc.)
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large, complex datasets
- Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake or Google BigQuery
- Expertise in designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and analytical data models
- Strong background in statistical modeling, including regression, causal inference, time-series analysis, and experimental design
- Experience applying or developing machine learning models for prediction, classification, segmentation, or optimization
- Data visualization and storytelling experience using Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or Python visualization libraries
- Advanced Excel skills for validation, ad hoc analysis, and stakeholder communication
Plus:
- Previous experience applying analytics or data science within marketing, growth, or revenue-focused teams
- Understanding of digital marketing data (paid media, SEO, lifecycle marketing, funnels, conversion metrics)
- Experience working with marketing and customer data platforms such as Google Analytics (GA4), HubSpot, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta, or equivalent
- Familiarity with marketing attribution frameworks, incrementality testing, and media measurement concepts
- Ability to partner effectively with marketing, product, and finance stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
- Lead marketing-focused data science and advanced analytics initiatives, setting analytical standards and best practices
- Partner with marketing leadership to frame business questions as analytical and modeling problems
- Design and implement predictive models, regression analyses, media mix models, and uplift/incrementality analyses
- Conduct deep exploration data analysis to uncover growth opportunities, inefficiencies, and hidden patterns
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and well-modeled datasets
- Maintain high data quality standards, documentation, and reproducibility across analyses
