The Challenge
Comrade Digital Marketing runs two distinct brands and needs a hands-on marketing director who can build a scalable lead generation engine across both. You'll own the full marketing operation—strategy, budget, team, vendors—and be directly accountable for pipeline growth.
Your Mission
Audit current marketing channels across both brands, identify cost-per-lead benchmarks, and establish baseline performance metrics
Align with sales team on lead quality standards, define SLA criteria, and implement feedback loops to tighten targeting
Consolidate marketing budget allocation and vendor contracts; renegotiate terms based on performance data
Build and present unified marketing roadmap with clear quarterly targets for lead volume and CPA by channel
Achieve 20-30% reduction in cost-per-lead through channel optimization and testing of new acquisition channels
Launch and scale 2-3 new lead generation initiatives (partnership channels, content, paid experiments) backed by clear ROI business cases
Develop high-performing internal marketing team with clear accountability structure and continuous improvement cadence
Deliver monthly performance dashboards tracking lead volume, channel ROI, and pipeline contribution to both brands

Cost Per Lead (CPL)
Track and optimize acquisition cost across all channels—this is your north star metric.
Lead Volume & Quality Score
Measure leads generated monthly by brand/channel and track conversion rate to sales-qualified opportunities.
Channel ROI
Calculate return on investment for each marketing channel (paid, organic, partnership) against revenue attributed.
Marketing Budget Efficiency
Monitor spend allocation, vendor performance, and ensure budget forecasting aligns with pipeline targets.
Team Productivity & Turnover
Track team utilization, project delivery, and retention—culture and accountability are critical here.
