The Challenge

Composio just 3x'd ARR and raised $25M Series A to build the agent-to-tools infrastructure layer. You'll own growth end-to-end-from shipping activation flows to instrumenting funnels-in a space where every feature compounds.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Ship 3-4 growth experiments (onboarding flow, referral system, or activation feature) with full instrumentation and measurable impact on conversion or retention

2

Build internal dashboards mapping user drop-off points across the funnel and identify top 2-3 levers for improvement

3

Design and deploy a backend system supporting one major growth initiative (referral mechanics, usage-based triggers, or cohort-based targeting)

4

Establish baseline metrics for activation, retention, and feature adoption; set growth targets for next quarter

By 6 Months
1

Deliver 8-10 validated growth experiments; at least 2 should be scaled into permanent product features

2

Increase activation rate by 15-25% through optimized onboarding, feature discovery, or cohort targeting

3

Build predictive churn model or usage intelligence dashboard to inform retention strategy

4

Own and scale the top 2 growth channels (referral, community signups, or integration-driven activation) with clear unit economics

KPIs You'll Own

Activation Rate

% of signups completing core action (first successful tool integration or API call) within 7 days.

Feature Adoption (New Experiments)

Weekly active users engaging with newly shipped growth features as % of total DAU.

Retention Cohorts

Week-4 and Week-12 retention rates by acquisition cohort and feature exposure.

Funnel Conversion

Signup → Onboard → First Integration → Paid conversion rates at each step.

Experiment Velocity

Experiments shipped per month with statistical significance; win rate (% positive impact).

Tools & Stack

React / TypeScript (frontend)Node.js or Python (backend)PostHog (analytics)Snowflake (data warehouse)SQLGitHubNotionSalesforce

Culture

Small, scrappy, builder-oriented; ruthlessly focused on signal over perfection; embrace shipping incomplete work to learn fast

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You ship features across the full stack (React + backend + SQL) without needing handoffs or permission to start
  • You live in data; you write SQL, set up tracking, and let funnels guide your next move-not gut feel
  • You're fluent in AI/LLMs and actually building with them; you follow the ecosystem and see opportunities others miss
  • You thrive with ruthless scope and incomplete specs; you'd rather ship a rough MVP in 3 days than a perfect feature in 3 weeks
  • You want to feel growth move because of *your* code and ideas, not just support a PM's roadmap
Won't Work If
  • You need detailed specs, clear approval chains, and someone else to build the other half of your idea
  • You prefer deep dives in one area over context-switching between frontend, backend, and data problems
  • You're uncomfortable with ambiguity or need a manager to validate every decision; you won't take ownership independently
  • You're not comfortable working on-site in San Francisco full-time

Interview Process

1

Screen

Conversation about shipping speed, growth mindset, and full-stack capabilities; they'll probe past examples

2

Technical Round

Likely a system design or take-home project; expect full-stack (frontend + backend) or growth metrics scenario

3

Growth Conversation

How you'd approach a growth problem end-to-end; hypothetical activation or retention scenario

4

Founder/CTO Chat

Talk about the product, the AI ecosystem, long-term vision; expect questions about your startup hunger
