Is This Role For You?
- You've led marketing partnerships or business development at a DSP (Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, TikTok, Meta) or for a music/media distributor—and understand how playlists, algorithmic placement, and paid promotions drive discovery
- You're fluent in data: you've built KPI frameworks, run A/B tests, and translated DSP metrics into business strategy and playbooks for distributed teams
- You thrive in global, matrix organizations and enjoy translating executive strategy into local playbooks for 50+ markets without micromanaging
- You combine product-minded thinking with sales savvy: you can negotiate with C-suite DSP contacts, brief executives, and ship operational improvements to tech platforms
- You're looking for a pure content/editorial role or a back-office marketing job—this is a P&L-owning, relationship-building, strategy-execution role with heavy DSP partnership work
- You lack music/entertainment industry experience or don't understand DSP mechanics (playlists, algorithms, editorial workflows, promo budgets)
- You prefer hands-off leadership or struggle with ambiguity—you'll need to balance global strategy, local autonomy, and real-time tactical execution across multiple time zones
