The Challenge

Bain's Commercial Excellence practice is scaling Coro, a proprietary SaaS platform that translates go-to-market strategy into measurable results for B2B clients. You'll lead the Sales Playmaker product workstream, directly shaping how enterprise teams activate sales and marketing playbooks with AI-enabled tools.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Own and deliver 2-3 complete Sales Playmaker case workstreams with documented client impact on sales velocity or win rates

2

Build deep product expertise: map current feature gaps and develop 1-2 product enhancement recommendations with ROI projections

3

Establish stakeholder relationships across 3+ Bain case teams and key client executives; deliver weekly insights on emerging market needs

4

Create and refine 3-4 reusable Sales Playmaker templates (sales play design, persona frameworks, message architecture) for repeatable delivery

By 6 Months
1

Lead go-to-market positioning for Sales Playmaker across Bain's commercial excellence portfolio; present at 1-2 internal strategy sessions

Drive measurable KPI improvements: document 5+ client case studies showing lift in pipeline coverage, sales cycle compression, or win rates

3

Architect and pilot 2 GenAI-powered workflows (custom GPT development) that accelerate playbook creation or sales coaching

4

Mentor 2-3 junior team members on B2B marketing frameworks and Sales Playmaker delivery best practices

Track satisfaction and referral likelihood from Sales Playmaker clients; target 8.5+ NPS within 6 months.

Days from engagement kickoff to first playbook activation; target 30-45 days for standard engagements.

Won't Work If
  • You need remote flexibility or a work-from-anywhere setup; this role is Mexico City on-site with frequent travel
  • You prefer deep execution over strategy—you'll spend significant time designing approaches and influencing stakeholders, not writing copy or running campaigns
  • You don't have genuine B2B marketing experience or you're coming from a consumer brand background without consulting/enterprise SaaS exposure
