The Challenge

Assurant is looking for a strategic marketing leader to own the go-to-market strategy across a defined set of countries in Latin America. You'll bridge global marketing with local market realities, driving growth through new product development, positioning, and cross-functional execution in a B2B and B2B2C environment.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Develop and socialize a comprehensive country-level marketing strategy aligned with local business priorities and global marketing roadmap

Map key stakeholder needs across sales, business development, product, and compliance teams; establish cadence and communication frameworks

3

Audit current marketing activities, performance, and resource allocation across the region; identify gaps and quick wins

4

Build and onboard your direct team; clarify roles, expectations, and initial 90-day priorities

By 6 Months
1

Execute Q1-Q2 marketing plans with measurable outcomes tied to commercial growth targets and pipeline contribution

Lead 2-3 new product/value proposition initiatives from concept through in-market launch; measure adoption and customer response

3

Establish repeatable quarterly planning cycles with business leaders; demonstrate marketing's impact on revenue and market share

4

Optimize marketing spend and resource allocation based on performance data; present ROI by channel, campaign, and initiative

KPIs You'll Own

Marketing-influenced revenue

Percentage of new business pipeline and closed deals attributed to marketing efforts and campaigns.

Brand awareness and consideration lift

Market research tracking of brand recognition, positioning awareness, and intent to purchase among key segments.

Campaign performance and conversion rates

Lead generation, cost per lead, and conversion rates by channel, campaign, and product line.

Time to market for new offerings

Speed and quality of go-to-market execution for new products and value propositions from concept to launch.

Stakeholder alignment and adoption

Sales enablement engagement, sales team feedback scores, and adoption rates of marketing collateral and messaging.
