The Challenge
Agoda (Booking Holdings) is hunting for a P&L leader who can orchestrate global marketing spend as a strategic lever for profitability. You'll own LTV frameworks, predict market shifts with ML, and sit in rooms where your decisions move millions in customer acquisition spend.
Your Mission
Map current marketing P&L across all channels (Performance, Brand, Meta) and identify 2-3 quick wins to improve efficiency by 10-15%
Establish or refine LTV definition with data science team and baseline current CAC-to-LTV ratios by market segment
Conduct competitive pricing & loyalty analysis to pinpoint where Agoda is over/under-investing vs. OTA peers
Onboard with cross-functional leads (Finance, Product, Strategy) and define Q1-Q2 growth priorities
Deliver a 1-year global growth roadmap with specific channel mix recommendations and revenue/margin targets by market
Build and launch a forecasting model that predicts booking demand shifts 4-8 weeks out and triggers investment adjustments
Lead execution of a high-value customer acquisition shift (e.g., loyalty cohorts, geographic expansion) that improves unit economics by 15%+
Mentor team of 4-6 analysts into a data-driven culture; ship 8+ A/B tests with repeatable frameworks

Marketing ROI / ROAS
Track revenue generated per dollar spent across channels; target positive ROAS by cohort and market.
CAC-to-LTV Ratio
Monitor cost of acquisition vs. lifetime value by customer segment; drive toward 1:3+ ratio.
P&L Variance vs. Budget
Measure actual spend, bookings, and margin vs. forecast; stay within ±5% tolerance.
Market Share Growth
Track booking volume and revenue growth vs. OTA competitors in key markets (YoY %).
Forecast Accuracy
Evaluate prediction model error rate on 4-week and 8-week demand forecasts; target <10% MAPE.

- You're not comfortable being data-driven; hunch-based marketing won't fly here
- You lack experience with P&L ownership or cross-functional leadership at senior scale
