The Challenge
Agoda (part of Booking Holdings) is hunting for a pricing strategist to own B2B2C growth across high-value partners like Rakuten and Paytm. You'll design experiments, build pricing playbooks, and act as the commercial brain for scaling partner revenue—combining analytics rigor with relentless test-and-learn execution.
Your Mission
Audit current B2B pricing strategies across top 5-10 partners; identify 3-5 high-impact test hypotheses with projected P&L upside
Launch first experimentation roadmap: design 2-3 A/B/multivariate tests, define success metrics, and establish measurement framework
Build foundational Tableau dashboards for pricing performance, elasticity, and partner KPI tracking; socialize with stakeholder groups
Map cross-functional dependencies (Product, Commercial, Data Science); establish weekly sync cadence and decision-making playbook
Execute and scale 8-12 pricing/marketing experiments; achieve 2-3 winning strategies ready for full rollout across markets
Develop and operationalize pricing playbooks for segmentation, promotion strategy, and partner-specific tactics; document 5+ repeatable templates
Model and present partner P&L scenarios (revenue, margin, cannibalization); drive alignment on OKRs with at least 3 strategic partners
Build partner advisory council: co-create joint growth plans, manage quarterly business reviews, and present insights to executive leadership

- You've shipped 5+ growth initiatives in e-commerce, travel, or SaaS—especially pricing or partnership strategy—and can quantify the impact
- You're fluent in SQL, Excel, Tableau and obsessed with clean data; you design experiments first, then make decisions
- You thrive in ambiguous, cross-functional environments and can translate a P&L model into a partner conversation in 30 seconds
- You have a consulting mindset: you ask the right questions, stress-test assumptions, and know when to simplify vs. dig deeper
- You're willing to relocate to Bangkok or Rio and embrace async collaboration across time zones
- You need a fully remote setup or resist relocation to Asia/South America
- You're uncomfortable with experimentation pace and iteration; you prefer waterfall planning over rapid testing
- You lack SQL or advanced analytical chops—this role demands hands-on data fluency, not delegation
