Company Intelligence

Activision Blizzard is one of the world's largest interactive entertainment companies, home to franchises like Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, Overwatch, and Diablo. The Santa Monica studio is a hub for innovation at the intersection of culture, creativity, and player experience. Activision is actively investing in inclusive growth as a strategic driver of audience expansion and player retention.

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've built strategic partnerships or community programs that measurably grew audiences or engagement (10+ years relevant experience)
  • You translate cultural insights into business strategy-you can speak both 'culture' and 'metrics'
  • You've shipped inclusive design or representation initiatives and tracked their impact on player behavior
  • You thrive in collaborative, matrix environments and can influence without direct authority across studios and functions
  • You're genuinely invested in how games can reflect and serve diverse global communities, not just checking boxes
Won't Work If
  • You need remote flexibility-this is 4 days/week on-site in Santa Monica, non-negotiable
  • You think diversity initiatives are separate from core business metrics-you need to own both sides
  • You've mostly done DEI compliance work rather than driving innovation and audience growth through inclusive strategy
  • You can't navigate complex stakeholder dynamics or aren't comfortable challenging creative teams on representation and cultural resonance
