Marketing - Demand Generation Manager
About the job
We are looking for a hands-on, analytical demand generation leader to design and execute the systems that drive qualified client and candidate acquisition for our family of staffing and recruiting brands. This role is for a forward-thinking, data-driven marketer who is comfortable owning outcomes, not just outputs, and who wants to play a pivotal role in evolving our marketing function from sales support into a scalable growth engine.
This person will be responsible for building, operating, and optimizing a measurable demand generation ecosystem across paid media, marketing automation, database mining, and conversion-focused messaging. They will establish the tools, processes, and reporting required to consistently generate qualified leads while continuously lowering the cost of acquisition for both candidates and clients.
The mission
The mission of this role is to generate qualified client and candidate demand by activating our existing database, deploying targeted paid campaigns, and building automated lifecycle journeys that convert attention into conversations, placements, and long-term relationships.
Demand generation efforts will span our website, paid digital channels, email and marketing automation platforms, and our Bullhorn database. Success will be measured by lead quality, conversion rates, and a sustained reduction in the cost of acquiring candidates and clients.
More about the role, the responsibilities, and the opportunity:
- Own top-of-funnel and mid-funnel demand generation for both client and candidate audiences
- Work cross-functionally with practice leaders, recruiters, sourcers, and sales leadership to define qualified lead criteria and funnel handoffs
- Segment and activate the Bullhorn database to drive re-engagement, redeployment, and new business opportunities
- Design and execute automated lifecycle campaigns across email and digital channels
- Build, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across LinkedIn, Google, and retargeting platforms
- Develop conversion-focused landing pages, offers, and messaging aligned to specific personas and practice areas
- Translate recruiter and practice-level insights into clear, differentiated value propositions
- Continuously test and optimize audiences, messaging, offers, and channels to improve performance
- Build and maintain dashboards across Google Analytics, ad platforms, and Bullhorn to track funnel performance
- Identify bottlenecks in the acquisition funnel and implement data-driven improvements
- Communicate regularly with leadership on performance metrics, campaign results, and optimization priorities
- Ensure demand generation efforts are scalable, repeatable, and aligned with overall business objectives
Your qualifications:
- You identify as a self-starter who is comfortable owning goals and driving initiatives from strategy through execution
- You have a strong working knowledge of demand generation, paid digital marketing, and marketing automation
- You have hands-on experience managing paid acquisition campaigns and optimizing for conversion
- You are comfortable working with CRM or ATS data to segment audiences and drive targeted campaigns
- You have experience analyzing funnel metrics, conversion rates, and cost of acquisition
- You can develop clear, persuasive messaging that drives action, even if writing is not your primary discipline
- Experience in staffing, recruiting, or a two-sided marketplace is a strong plus
- You can collaborate across multiple internal teams and align stakeholders around shared performance goals
- You have strong time management skills and can prioritize high-impact work over activity for activity’s sake
