The Challenge
Nothing Bundt Cakes is scaling their customer engagement engine. You'll own the entire CRM + loyalty strategy-from email and SMS campaigns to retention journeys-across 300+ locations, directly impacting repeat purchase rates and lifetime value.
Your Mission
Audit current email/SMS/push performance across national and bakery-specific campaigns; identify top 3 optimization opportunities and implement quick wins
Establish baseline KPI reporting (engagement, conversion, retention) across all messaging channels with weekly cadence to stakeholders
Complete segmentation strategy review with loyalty platform partner; validate audience logic and point-awarding mechanics align with business goals
Build and document CRM campaign brief template and approval workflow to standardize execution across brand and local teams
Launch 3+ new customer lifecycle journeys (welcome, win-back, VIP) with measurable lift vs. baseline in engagement and conversion
Grow email/SMS subscriber list by 15%+ while maintaining list health above industry benchmarks; reduce unsubscribe rate by 10%
Deliver quarterly business review showing channel ROI, YoY growth trends, and competitive positioning vs. QSR benchmarks
Partner with IT and loyalty provider to implement advanced segmentation (behavioral, predictive) and A/B testing framework for all campaigns

Monitor net growth rate, unsubscribe rate, and list decay to maintain a healthy, engaged audience for long-term ROI.
Customer Retention & Lifetime Value
Measure repeat purchase frequency, average order value, and churn rate among loyalty program members to validate retention impact.
Campaign ROI & Budget Variance
Track spend vs. budget, revenue attributed to CRM campaigns, and cost per acquisition to optimize channel efficiency.

- You've owned email, SMS, or push campaigns at scale (3+ years CRM/loyalty experience) and can read a spreadsheet like a native language
- You thrive on execution-brief writing, campaign QA, segmentation logic, and hitting send dates without drama
- You're platform-agnostic but fluent in at least one enterprise email/SMS stack (Zeta, SFMC, Braze, Attentive, HubSpot)
- You obsess over KPIs, A/B testing, and actionable insights; you communicate performance weekly without being asked
- You're collaborative across teams but independent enough to own projects end-to-end
- You're looking for remote flexibility; this is 100% on-site Dallas
- You need a 9-to-5 gig; this role requires after-hours flexibility for global alignment
- You're more strategic ideation than execution; this role is heavy on campaign builds, approvals, and deadline management
