What you'll do

Accountabilities:

  • Shape product positioning and messaging: Translate product developments across multiple verticals into clear, compelling public-facing positioning, narratives, content, and marketing collateral.

  • Simplify complex technical concepts: Turn sophisticated topics such as AI training data, machine learning workflows, model performance, and real-world data challenges into accessible messaging for technical buyers and broader audiences.

  • Lead product and content launches: Own end-to-end launch campaigns for product, DataLab, vertical, and commercial releases, from initial strategy and narrative development through execution and distribution.

  • Develop technical thought leadership: Create high-quality written and multimedia content that advances the conversation around real-world data and its role in AI development.

  • Build product marketing strategy: Develop the product marketing vision and strategy that positions the platform as a foundational real-world data solution across the AI model development lifecycle.

  • Create go-to-market assets: Develop sales and marketing materials including presentations, webinars, videos, social content, one-pagers, case studies, landing pages, talk tracks, and launch collateral.

  • Enable commercial teams: Partner closely with Sales to understand customer needs, support strategic opportunities, and create tailored narratives that strengthen commercial conversations.

  • Drive community engagement: Collaborate with Community leadership to develop content and assets that support events, programs, and ongoing audience engagement.

  • Connect teams around a unified narrative: Work cross-functionally with Product, DataLab, vertical leaders, Sales, Commercial, and Delivery teams to ensure external messaging accurately reflects the product and reinforces market differentiation.

  • Own content distribution: Identify and activate the appropriate growth and communication channels to ensure strong content reaches the audiences it is designed to influence.

  • Identify and close narrative gaps: Assess existing messaging, content, and collateral, identify opportunities for improvement, and build the foundational materials required to strengthen the overall market story.

  • Build from first principles: Establish repeatable product marketing and content processes in an evolving environment where established playbooks may not yet exist.

Requirements

  • Exceptional writing: Outstanding writing ability with strong editorial judgment and the capacity to turn complex ideas into clear, persuasive narratives.

  • Technical communication: Demonstrated ability to explain sophisticated technical concepts-including AI data, ML pipelines, model performance, and real-world data workflows-to technical buyers and B2B audiences.

  • Content versatility: Experience developing narratives across multiple formats and channels, including written content, visual media, podcasts, live experiences, and other campaign formats.

  • Launch leadership: Proven experience managing end-to-end product, vertical, or content-led launches with cross-functional teams, from early positioning through external execution.

  • Sales partnership: Experience working closely with sales teams on strategic opportunities, developing a deep understanding of customer needs, and shaping messaging that advances commercial conversations.

  • B2B content expertise: Track record of producing compelling technical content such as product launches, technical explainers, case studies, thought leadership, and related materials.

  • Strategic and hands-on mindset: Ability to develop high-level marketing strategy while personally executing the decks, messaging, case studies, campaigns, and other assets required to bring that strategy to life.

  • Startup adaptability: Comfortable operating in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments, shipping strong first versions quickly, incorporating feedback, and creating new approaches when established processes are unavailable.

  • Ownership: Highly proactive and hands-on, with the ability to take responsibility for outcomes rather than waiting for direction or relying on others to execute.

  • Distribution expertise: Understanding of how to use relevant growth and marketing channels to actively distribute content and reach target audiences.

  • AI and data knowledge: Experience with AI/ML products, data platforms, foundation models, AI training, or machine learning workflows is highly desirable.

  • Technical background: Experience as an engineer, solutions engineer, data scientist, or in another technical discipline is a plus.

  • Scale and complexity: Experience managing multiple verticals or product lines simultaneously is beneficial.

  • Collaboration and communication: Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to work effectively with technical, commercial, and executive stakeholders.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation: Compensation details are determined based on the scope of the role, experience, and relevant qualifications.

  • High-impact opportunity: Help shape the market narrative for an emerging category at the intersection of AI, real-world data, and technology.

  • Significant ownership: Take responsibility for foundational product marketing, content, positioning, and go-to-market initiatives in a lean environment.

  • Cross-functional exposure: Work directly with Product, Sales, DataLab, Community, and business leaders.

  • Build-from-scratch environment: Create new marketing systems, narratives, campaigns, and processes rather than simply maintaining an established playbook.

  • Mission-driven work: Contribute to solving a major challenge in AI by helping make high-quality training data more accessible, discoverable, and usable.

  • Fast-paced culture: Join a high-trust environment that values ownership, urgency, experimentation, continuous learning, thoughtful communication, and strong execution.

  • Professional growth: Develop expertise across AI, data infrastructure, product marketing, technical storytelling, and emerging technology markets.
