The Challenge

Brandvocacy acquires and monetizes brands through strategic licensing partnerships. You'll build out their marketing function from the ground up, developing brand strategies that drive wholesale and retail adoption across multiple channels.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Develop and document brand strategy framework for 2-3 core brands, including positioning, messaging, and visual guidelines

Audit competitive landscape and create market research deck identifying consumer trends and positioning gaps

Launch first integrated campaign across digital channels (Meta, TikTok, Shopify) with measurable engagement targets

4

Establish baseline brand performance metrics and reporting dashboard for leadership visibility

By 6 Months
1

Execute 3+ multi-channel brand campaigns demonstrating 20%+ engagement lift vs. baseline

Increase ecomm conversion rate by 15% through optimized product merchandising and brand storytelling across platforms

3

Create licensee brand deck library (5+) enabling retail partners to execute consistent, on-brand activations

4

Present quarterly brand performance review to executives and retail partners showing market share gains and consumer sentiment shifts

KPIs You'll Own

Campaign Engagement Rate

Track click-through, conversion, and share metrics across all digital channels (Meta, TikTok, email, Shopify).

Ecomm Revenue & AOV

Monitor total revenue and average order value across Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and Meta Shop storefronts.

Brand Awareness Lift

Measure month-over-month brand recall and consideration via consumer surveys and social listening tools.

Licensee Activation Rate

Track % of retail partners successfully implementing brand materials and executing co-marketing campaigns.

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've run ecomm campaigns on Shopify, Meta, TikTok, or Amazon and can show concrete ROI numbers
  • You're energized by brand building and enjoy translating strategy into visual assets (Canva, Figma proficiency required)
  • You're comfortable wearing multiple hats-market research, campaign execution, stakeholder presentations, design support
  • You have 1-3 years of brand or digital marketing experience and want to own a function rather than execute tasks
Won't Work If
  • You need a fully remote setup or flexible location-this is on-site only in NYC
  • You prefer deep specialization over T-shaped generalism; this role demands strategy, design, analytics, AND ecomm chops
  • You lack hands-on ecomm platform experience (Shopify, Meta Ads, TikTok Shop); this is table stakes
