Komic Karma is a unique entertainment venue combining live comedy, music, special events, billiards, nightlife, food, and drinks into one destination experience. We are looking for a creative, energetic, and highly skilled Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist to help grow our brand, increase customer engagement, and drive traffic through compelling content and digital marketing strategies.
Position Overview
The Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist will own Komic Karma’s online presence across all major social media platforms while maintaining and updating the company website. This individual will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing posting schedules, promoting events, growing online audiences, and ensuring our digital presence accurately reflects the excitement and energy of the venue.

Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Management
- Manage and grow Komic Karma’s presence on:
- TikTok
- YouTube Shorts
- Google Business Profile
- Additional platforms as appropriate
- Develop and execute a monthly content calendar.
- Schedule and publish daily content.
- Monitor comments, messages, reviews, and online engagement.
- Stay current on platform trends, algorithms, and best practices.
- Implement audience growth strategies and community engagement initiatives.
Content Creation
- Capture photos and videos during events, comedy shows, live music performances, tournaments, and promotions.
- Create:
- Reels
- TikToks
- Event promos
- Flyers
- Graphics
- Stories
- Behind-the-scenes content
- Edit short-form video content optimized for each platform.
- Collaborate with management on promotional campaigns and event marketing.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity.
Website Management
- Update and maintain the Komic Karma WordPress website.
- Post and update:
- Event calendars
- Special promotions
- Menu changes
- Entertainment schedules
- Blog/news updates
- Ensure website content remains current and accurate.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for advanced website needs when necessary.
Event Promotion
- Create marketing campaigns for:
- Comedy shows
- Live music
- Billiards tournaments
- Holiday events
- Theme nights
- Private parties and bookings
- Promote ticket sales and attendance through digital channels.
- Develop creative campaigns that increase foot traffic and customer engagement.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and report key performance metrics:
- Follower growth
- Reach and impressions
- Engagement rates
- Video views
- Website traffic
- Event attendance impact
- Provide monthly performance summaries and recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing business social media accounts.
- Strong understanding of:
- TikTok
- Reels and Shorts
- Social media algorithms
- Experience creating and editing short-form video content.
- Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar tools.
- Experience managing WordPress websites.
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in nightlife, entertainment, hospitality, restaurants, bars, or event venues.
- Photography and videography experience.
- Knowledge of paid social media advertising.
- Basic SEO knowledge.
- Experience promoting ticketed events.
- Graphic design experience.

Compensation
- Part-Time Position (Approximately 20 Hours Per Week)

You know what performs on TikTok, understand how to turn a 15-second clip into thousands of views, and can create excitement online that translates into customers walking through the door. You’re creative, proactive, organized, and passionate about entertainment, nightlife, and community engagement.
