This is not a traditional customer service or sales position. We're looking for someone with experience managing digital marketing clients who understands websites, SEO, and the day-to-day operations of a marketing agency.

What You'll Do

As an SEO & Website Account Manager, you'll be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring projects stay organized, marketing campaigns move forward, and clients clearly understand the value we're delivering.

You'll work closely with our SEO specialists, designers, developers, content team, and leadership to coordinate projects, communicate strategy, and identify opportunities to help clients grow.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned SEO and website clients
• Lead recurring strategy and performance meetings
• Translate technical marketing concepts into clear, client-friendly communication
• Coordinate website projects from kickoff through launch
• Manage SEO campaigns and ensure deliverables stay on schedule
• Review website content, SEO recommendations, and project deliverables before they are presented to clients
• Create meeting agendas, document action items, and follow up on next steps
• Collaborate with designers, developers, SEO specialists, content writers, and paid advertising teams
• Monitor project timelines and proactively identify roadblocks
• Identify opportunities for clients to improve their marketing performance
• Maintain accurate project documentation within our project management system
• Build long-term relationships that result in high client retention and satisfaction

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• 2+ years of experience in a digital marketing agency
• Experience managing website, SEO, or digital marketing clients
• A working knowledge of SEO fundamentals, websites, and digital marketing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and project management abilities
• The ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously
• Confidence communicating with business owners and marketing teams
• Experience using project management software

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Webflow or WordPress
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console
• Understanding of local SEO and technical SEO concepts
• Experience reviewing website designs and content before launch
• Manufacturing or B2B marketing experience
• AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini
• Experience with CRMs and marketing reporting platforms

Pay: $55,465.32 - $66,796.95 per year
