Company Intelligence

AxiLab is a Silicon Valley startup founded by Apple veterans building Raizz, an AI-powered neurostimulation wearable. The company is in pre-production, moving toward commercial launch with world-class product DNA and a focus on the intersection of AI, wearables, and health technology.

Culture

Led by women who get things done; flat hierarchy with direct CEO access; execution-focused, no corporate bureaucracy

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've shipped at least one hardware or deep-tech product to market and understand the unique GTM challenges
  • You're energized by translating complex technology into compelling consumer narratives-not just creating content
  • You thrive as a team of one: comfortable owning strategy, execution, and infrastructure without layers of approval
  • You love user research and grounding decisions in real user insights, not assumptions
  • You want to shape a brand from day one before the world knows what it is
Won't Work If
  • You need a large team or prefer managing people over hands-on execution
  • You want a polished, stable company with clear processes; pre-launch startups are chaotic
  • You're uncomfortable with hardware timelines, manufacturing delays, or technical complexity
  • You expect a predictable 9-to-5; pre-launch requires intensity and flexibility

Interview Process

1

Screening call with CEO

15-20 min conversation on your launch experience and approach to user research

2

Case study / exercise

Analyze a neurostimulation or hardware product; submit positioning recommendation + sample messaging

3

Founding team interview

1:1 with CEO and key team member (likely product/design) on cross-functional collaboration and how you'd shape strategy

4

Reference calls

Conversation with 1-2 references on your track record shipping products and conducting user research
