Company Overview
CoverRight is an insurance technology (‘insurtech’) startup on a mission to make Medicare more accessible to the 60 million Medicare beneficiaries across the country. We help the 11,000 people retiring every day make one the most complex but important decisions as they age into retirement, finding the right health insurance.
We’re backed by reputable venture capital investors and have assembled a passionate and driven team to tackle an industry long overlooked by technology. Our mission is to become the most trusted partner in navigating the early-stages of retirement.
Our team is tight-knit, scrappy, and adaptable. We move fast, take risks, and get things done. And, most importantly, we care deeply about each other and our customers.
We have aggressive goals as we accelerate growth and are looking to bring on new team members who are able to move mountains to ‘get things done’.
About the Role
CoverRight is looking for a Strategic Partnerships Associate to help build and scale the partnerships that drive our growth. This is a cross-functional role sitting at the intersection of business development, relationship management, and operations - you'll be doing all three. You'll work directly with senior leadership to identify, launch, and manage partnerships across industries, and you'll own the day-to-day systems and processes that keep those relationships running smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Support the full partnership lifecycle - from prospect research and outreach through contract execution and ongoing account management
- Serve as a key point of contact for existing partners, building strong relationships and ensuring they're getting value from the collaboration
- Own partnership operations: maintain CRM data, track pipeline, manage timelines, and create reporting on partnership performance
- Coordinate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and sales to activate new partnerships and deliver on commitments
- Prepare materials for partner meetings - pitch decks, briefs, proposals, and follow-up summaries
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing partner accounts and help develop and refine scalable processes and playbooks as the partnerships function grows
What We're Looking For
2-4 years of experience in strategic partnerships, management consulting, business development, account management, or a related role Strong project management skills - you can juggle multiple workstreams, meet deadlines, and nothing falls through the cracks Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to external stakeholders Comfortable working across different industries and partner types High-agency, self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving environment with limited hand-holding This is NOT a regular Mon-Fri 9-5 and would need the individual to be always available
