The Challenge

Siemens Digital Industries Software is the global leader in CAD, 3D modeling, and simulation for manufacturers. As a Marketing Operations Apprentice, you'll own real marketing workflows—from newsletter management to asset databases to social campaigns—while learning how enterprise software marketing actually works.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Launch and manage first 3 monthly marketing newsletters, tracking open rates and engagement

2

Audit and organize marketing asset library (videos, images, documents) ensuring 100% compliance with brand guidelines

3

Document 2-3 core marketing operations processes for team knowledge base

4

Support 4+ social media campaign launches for product announcements or company milestones

By 6 Months
1

Own end-to-end newsletter program with measurable subscriber growth and click-through rate targets

Build and maintain centralized asset management system (SharePoint) serving 10+ internal stakeholders

3

Create process documentation playbook for onboarding next apprentice cohort

4

Contribute to 1 major marketing campaign (collateral, database updates, social coordination)

KPIs You'll Own

Newsletter Open Rate

Target 25%+ open rate on monthly marketing newsletters, indicating content relevance.

Asset Library Compliance

100% of stored marketing assets (videos, images, documents) meet brand guidelines and metadata standards.

Social Media Engagement

Track reach, impressions, and click-through rates on 4+ social campaigns executed per quarter.

Process Documentation Completion

Complete written documentation for 3+ core marketing ops workflows by month 6.

  • You lack proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools or aren't willing to learn SharePoint and Teams quickly
  • You're looking for remote flexibility; this role is on-site in Lyon and requires in-person collaboration
