Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You thrive in chaos-you actually enjoy bringing structure to complex, multi-stakeholder projects with competing deadlines
  • You're obsessed with process optimization; you see inefficiency as a puzzle to solve, not a fact of life
  • You have 3-5 years of marketing ops, project coordination, or program management experience with proven track record shipping campaigns
  • You're equally comfortable with spreadsheets and people-you can wrangle data AND keep teams aligned without being annoying
  • You care about details but don't lose sight of strategy; you understand WHY projects matter, not just that they need to ship
Won't Work If
  • You need creative ownership or personal project portfolio credit-this role is about enabling others' success, not your own
  • You prefer remote-first or flexible location; this is fully on-site LA and requires physical team presence
  • You're adverse to process documentation and standardization; if you work best without systems, this isn't it

Interview Process

Recruiter Screen

2

45-min deep dive on specific projects you've managed, how you handle scope creep, cross-team alignment examples, and process improvement wins

3

Working Session/Case Study

Real scenario: Walk through a past campaign launch or event-what systems would you build, how would you keep teams aligned, what risks do you see?

4

Leadership Team Meeting

30-min conversation with Marketing Director + Finance/Operations lead on how you'd handle budget tracking and cross-functional partnerships
