About The Role

The Marketing Operations Manager reports to the Marketing Director and is responsible for the organization, coordination, and operational execution of Elwood’s marketing initiatives across campaigns, launches, collaborations, and brand activations. This role sits at the center of the marketing team, ensuring projects move forward on time, communication flows clearly across teams, and campaigns launch seamlessly.


This role serves as the operational backbone of the marketing organization, managing timelines, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring initiatives including campaigns, launches, collaborations, events, and partnerships are executed efficiently and on schedule.


The Marketing Operations Manager is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. They thrive on bringing structure to complex projects, keeping teams aligned, and ensuring everyone across the organization has the information they need to move quickly and execute effectively.


The role also owns tracking and reporting of the brand marketing budget across campaigns, media placements, events, and partnerships, ensuring investments remain organized, visible, and aligned with marketing priorities.


Core Responsibilities

Project & Timeline Management

  • Own timelines across campaigns, product launches, collaborations, and events
  • Build and maintain detailed project plans with clear milestones and deadlines
  • Track progress across teams and proactively identify risks or bottlenecks
  • Serve as the source of truth for all marketing timelines and deliverables

Go-To-Market Coordination

  • Support planning and execution of GTM strategies across launches and campaigns
  • Drive internal communication and alignment across marketing, creative, growth, CX, and leadership
  • Prepare and distribute launch plans, updates, and recaps

Collaborations & Partnerships

  • Coordinate communication with external partners and collaborators
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and approvals
  • Track agreements and ensure all deliverables are received and distributed

Vendors, Contracts & Negotiation Support

  • Assist in managing vendor relationships and contracts
  • Track deliverables, timelines, and key terms
  • Support negotiation processes through organization and documentation

Events & Activations

  • Support planning and execution of brand events and activations
  • Coordinate logistics across vendors and internal teams
  • Ensure all materials and deliverables are completed on schedule

OOH & External Media

  • Coordinate execution of out-of-home and external marketing placements
  • Ensure creative assets are delivered accurately and on time
  • Track timelines, specs, and vendor coordination

Marketing Budget Management

  • Own and track brand marketing budget across campaigns, partnerships, and activations
  • Maintain visibility into spend, commitments, and forecasts
  • Partner with Marketing + Finance on reporting and planning

Team Operations & Process

  • Run key marketing meetings (kickoffs, planning, post-mortems)
  • Maintain agendas, notes, and action items
  • Improve workflows, systems, and team organization
  • Own the master marketing calendar across all initiatives

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with marketing, creative, growth, CX, leadership, and external partners
  • Highly reliable and accountable — someone the entire team can depend on for clarity, organization, and follow-through
  • Experience managing complex marketing initiatives such as campaigns, brand collaborations, events, or partnerships


Qualifications

  • 3–6+ years of experience in marketing operations, project management, or similar role within a fast-paced environment (DTC or consumer brand preferred)
  • Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional marketing initiatives (campaigns, product launches, collaborations, events, etc.)
  • Experience with project management tools (Asana, Notion, etc.)
  • Comfortable working with budgets, tracking spend, and basic financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
