The Challenge
Zebra Technologies is hiring a Solutions Marketing Advisor to own vertical-specific GTM strategies and drive demand in specialized industry segments. You'll shape how enterprise customers understand Zebra's solutions while directly enabling sales teams with enablement materials and thought leadership.
Your Mission
Conduct deep vertical market research and competitive analysis for assigned segment; document customer pain points, competitive positioning, and whitespace opportunities
Develop and socialize annual marketing plan with quarterly milestones, revenue targets, and specific GTM tactics for your vertical
Create 3-5 high-impact content assets (case studies, thought leadership, sales collateral) aligned to customer buying journey
Establish baseline demand metrics and pipeline contribution tracking; implement analytics dashboard for campaign performance
Launch full vertical GTM strategy including demand creation campaigns, sales enablement program, and channel/partner activation
Generate 15+ qualified pipeline opportunities attributed to marketing efforts; track and optimize conversion metrics
Build and nurture relationships with 5-10 key industry influencers and thought leaders; secure 2-3 third-party validation opportunities
Scale content production to 10+ assets across formats (video, webinar, guides); measure engagement and lead quality by content type

Total marketing-attributed pipeline value in dollars, tracked by campaign and content source.
Content Engagement Rate
Click-through, download, and webinar attendance rates across all vertical-specific marketing assets.
Sales Enablement Adoption
Percentage of sales team using marketing-provided tools, collateral, and training materials.
GTM Execution Velocity
On-time delivery of quarterly marketing plans, campaigns, and content milestones vs. target launch dates.
Influence & Reach
Number of qualified industry relationships built, thought leadership placements, and third-party validations secured.

- You have 8+ years of B2B marketing with proven track record owning vertical or segment strategies end-to-end
- You're comfortable in matrix environments and can influence without direct authority (sales leadership, product, creative)
- You think strategically but obsess over execution—converting plans into real pipeline and revenue impact
- You're analytical and data-driven; you measure everything and optimize ruthlessly based on what works
- You need complete remote flexibility; this role requires on-site presence in Mexico City with hybrid option
- You're not comfortable owning accountability for pipeline generation and sales enablement metrics
- You prefer individual contributor roles; this role requires managing up, across, and building virtual teams
