The Challenge

YO IT Consulting is building next-gen coherent optical communication systems (800G, 1.6T+) powering AI data infrastructure. You'll own all marketing-from positioning through demand gen-for deeply technical semiconductor/telecom solutions in a high-growth startup environment.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Define and launch global positioning strategy for coherent DSP ASICs, establishing clear differentiation vs. competitors

Audit competitive landscape and create detailed market requirements documents (MRDs) aligned with product roadmap

3

Build marketing team structure (roles, budget allocation) and establish OKRs for demand generation and brand awareness

4

Deliver technical marketing collateral (white papers, datasheets, product briefs) for initial product launches

By 6 Months
1

Execute go-to-market strategy for new product launches with measurable pipeline contribution ($X pipeline generated)

Establish YO IT as thought leader via analyst relations, conference presence, and PR coverage in optical/telecom press

3

Scale demand generation (digital, ABM, events) with clear attribution to sales pipeline and win rates

4

Hire and onboard 3-4 core marketing team members (product marketing, demand gen, enablement) and achieve team productivity baseline

  • You've shipped 2+ technical B2B products in semiconductor, telecom, or optical comms and can speak DSP/modulation credibly
  • You've built and scaled marketing teams from scratch; you own strategy AND execution, not just delegation
  • You thrive with complex, deeply technical buying cycles and translating 10G+ optical systems into compelling narratives
  • You're energized by startups with real IP and real customers-not pre-revenue noise
