The Challenge

WEX is reimagining B2B payments through AI and automation. You'll architect marketing experiences that hit customers at critical lifecycle moments—owning strategy, personalization, and optimization across the entire automation stack.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Audit existing marketing automation programs in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, identify performance gaps, and present optimization roadmap to leadership

Design and launch 2-3 high-impact automated nurture sequences with dynamic personalization based on behavioral triggers and audience segmentation

Establish baseline performance metrics for all active campaigns (open rates, click rates, conversion lift) and create monthly reporting dashboard

4

Partner with Automation Engineering to document content strategy framework and train team on personalization best practices

By 6 Months
1

Increase overall marketing automation conversion rates by 20% through A/B testing and multivariate optimization across email, web, and landing pages

2

Develop and execute 4+ data-driven personalization strategies that boost engagement for key customer journey moments (onboarding, upsell, renewal)

3

Build proprietary competitive intelligence dashboard tracking industry automation trends and translating insights into quarterly strategy recommendations

Own end-to-end delivery of 8+ marketing automation content projects, ensuring on-time delivery, quality standards, and alignment with revenue targets

Track lift from baseline across all automated programs; target 20% improvement within 6 months

Email Engagement (Click-Through Rate)

Monitor CTR across personalized send segments; benchmark against industry standards for B2B SaaS

Content Performance Score

Composite metric combining open rate, CTR, and conversion by content piece to identify top-performing messaging

Personalization Lift

Measure uplift in conversion and engagement for dynamic vs. static content versions within segmented audiences

Project Delivery On-Time Rate

Percentage of marketing automation deliverables shipped by deadline with zero quality rework

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've shipped 5+ marketing automation campaigns and own hard numbers—conversion rate, revenue attributed, customer engagement lift
  • You speak fluent Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Marketo and understand segment logic, dynamic content, and journey builder workflows
  • You're obsessive about data: you test everything, read analytics dashboards for breakfast, and make decisions on evidence not hunches
  • You can translate between technical (automation engineers) and business stakeholders (C-suite, product) without losing context
  • You thrive in fast-moving B2B SaaS environments where personalization and CX automation directly impact revenue
Won't Work If
  • You're uncomfortable with on-site/in-office work in São Paulo—this role requires daily collaboration and is explicitly on-site
  • Your experience is primarily in email template design or content creation rather than strategy, segmentation, and testing
  • You don't have 5+ years hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms; this is a strategist role, not an entry-level position
