The Challenge
Rime AI is building the human side of enterprise voice agents—backed by top VCs, they're at inflection point and need their first full-function marketing leader to architect a go-to-market engine from zero. You'll own everything from brand to performance, positioning a breakthrough AI product in a fast-moving market.
Your Mission
Define and lock Rime's market positioning, messaging framework, and brand identity refresh with CEO buy-in
Establish marketing stack (CRM, marketing automation, analytics), measurement framework, and baseline KPIs across channels
Execute launch GTM for lead product/feature with collateral (case studies, positioning docs, sales enablement)
Secure 3-5 conference sponsorships/speaking slots and build event pipeline for developer and enterprise buyer audiences
Hit product launch targets: 500+ qualified leads, 10%+ conversion to sales pipeline, measurable brand lift in target segments
Scale 2-3 high-performing channels (paid search, content, events) to repeatable, profitable unit economics
Build and hire first marketing team (content/demand gen) with documented playbooks and processes
Establish thought leadership: 10+ published pieces, active community presence (LinkedIn, forums), 2+ analyst relationships

Pipeline Generated
Monthly qualified pipeline from all marketing channels attributed to first-touch and multi-touch models.
Cost Per Qualified Lead
Blended CAC across paid, organic, and event channels targeting developers and enterprise buyers.
Brand Awareness Lift
Quarterly tracking of aided/unaided awareness and consideration in voice AI/enterprise AI buyer segments.
Content Engagement Rate
Click-through, download, and sharing rates on high-priority assets (case studies, whitepapers, blog posts).
Sales Velocity
Days from marketing-qualified lead to sales acceptance, win rate by source, and customer acquisition cost ROI.

- You've led full-funnel B2B SaaS marketing at Series A-B stage and can architect strategy + execute simultaneously
- You're a strong writer/storyteller who can translate technical complexity (ML, linguistics, voice AI) into clear narratives for multiple audiences
- You thrive building marketing from zero, wearing many hats, defining playbooks, and scaling people—not just campaigns
- You're genuinely curious about AI/ML and motivated by solving real enterprise problems, not just hitting vanity metrics
- You're data-driven and experimental: comfortable with ambiguity, testing rigorously, and optimizing channels based on real ROI
- You want a hands-off director role—this is hands-on strategy AND execution from day one
