The Challenge
Universal Music Group's Republic Collective needs a hands-on Director to orchestrate digital marketing across major artist catalogs and cultural moments. You'll own strategy and execution across TikTok, Meta, YouTube, and emerging platforms while directly managing partnerships and driving measurable revenue impact.
Your Mission
Map the current catalog opportunity landscape and establish baseline KPIs for top 10 priority artists/catalogs
Secure and formalize strategic partnerships with TikTok, Meta, Snapchat, and YouTube leadership teams
Launch 2-3 major cross-platform campaigns around upcoming album releases or catalog anniversaries with integrated paid, organic, and CRM components
Build reporting framework and executive dashboard for campaign performance tracking and real-time optimization
Scale 3+ catalog campaigns from pilot to full execution, demonstrating 25%+ ROI improvement through platform partnerships and paid media optimization
Establish repeatable campaign architecture template for album releases, anniversaries, and sync moments
Grow first-party data audience by 15%+ through CRM and eCommerce integration across campaigns
Develop and execute influencer/creator activation strategy generating measurable cultural amplification and audience growth

Track paid and organic spend efficiency across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat to optimize budget allocation.

Measure monthly increase in CRM subscribers and owned audience from campaign conversions.
Catalog-Driven Revenue Attribution
Quantify incremental streaming, merchandise, and ticket revenue tied to digital campaigns.
Platform Partnership Value
Track earned media value, beta access, and priority positioning secured from platform partners.
Campaign Engagement Rate
Monitor organic reach, saves, shares, and click-through rates as leading indicators of cultural traction.

- You need remote flexibility-this is full-time on-site in NYC

- You lack demonstrated experience with paid media platforms, platform partnerships, or data-driven campaign optimization
