The Challenge
Trex is a leading outdoor living materials company looking for someone to own their entire owned-channel strategy across email and organic social. You'll be the single point of accountability for engagement, lifecycle relationships, and campaign amplification across homeowners, contractors, and trade partners—balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.
Your Mission
Audit current email and organic social performance; establish baseline metrics and identify quick wins for engagement improvement
Develop integrated 90-day email and organic social calendar aligned with upcoming campaigns and seasonal product launches
Map out CRM segmentation strategy and build 2-3 automated lifecycle journeys for key audience segments
Establish QA standards and content review processes across both channels; document best practices and approval workflows
Execute 3+ major product launches with coordinated email and organic social campaigns; measure lift in engagement and conversion
Implement A/B testing framework across email and social; deliver insights that improve open rates, click-through rates, and follower growth by 15%+
Evolve CRM personalization and dynamic content capabilities; increase email segment sophistication and behavioral triggers
Present quarterly performance reports to leadership showing channel contribution to broader marketing and business KPIs

Email Engagement Rate
Track open rate, click-through rate, and conversion rate across campaigns and lifecycle sends to optimize messaging and send times.
Organic Social Reach & Engagement
Monitor reach, impressions, engagement rate, and follower growth across priority platforms to measure content resonance and amplification effectiveness.
CRM Segmentation & Personalization
Measure adoption and performance of automated journeys, dynamic content, and personalization tactics to drive higher lifecycle value.
Campaign Support & Launch ROI
Track email and social contribution to campaign conversion, traffic, and sales lift for product launches and promotional campaigns.

Is This Role For You?
- You've managed email and/or organic social campaigns at scale and have hands-on proficiency with CRM platforms and social tools
- You thrive owning strategy AND execution—you're equally comfortable building 6-month plans and hitting send on daily posts
- You're data-driven and obsessive about A/B testing, segmentation, and optimization to prove channel ROI
- You can translate high-level campaign briefs into channel-specific tactics and make content calls with confidence
- You expect remote flexibility or WFH days—this role is on-site in Winchester, VA
- You prefer pure strategy with no hands-on execution; this is a blended role requiring QA and day-to-day management
- You lack direct experience with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo, HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) or social management tools
