The Challenge
Coca-Cola's McDonald's Division needs a strategic heavyweight to drive growth across international markets. You'll synthesize consumer and customer insights to shape where the business plays, how it wins, and translate that into sales-ready strategies that move the needle on beverage revenue.
Your Mission
Map priority markets' consumer/customer insights and identify 3-5 validated growth opportunities (beverages, channels, occasions) with clear size-of-prize estimates
Establish yourself as trusted advisor to Business Development Directors through 2-3 market strategy recommendations backed by insight synthesis
Build cross-functional alignment with Marketing, Analytics, Finance, and McDonald's stakeholders on current strategy gaps and planning methodology
Design and launch strategy-led sales enablement playbook for one priority market to test narrative framework
Lead Long Range Planning (LRP) and Annual Business Planning (ABP) cycles for 2-3 key regional markets with insight-backed strategic recommendations
Develop and execute multi-year beverage strategy for priority markets grounded in category, channel, and customer insights
Scale Strategic Business Planning and Collaborative Business Planning approach across International markets with documented playbooks
Deliver 2+ custom research projects on McDonald's priority strategic questions with direct translation to commercial implications

Is This Role For You?
- You've led growth strategy or business planning in B2B2C or complex multi-stakeholder environments (CPG, QSR, or similar)
- You're fluent translating consumer/customer insights into commercial strategy and sales narratives—not just dashboards
- You thrive as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders and can influence without direct authority
- You have 8+ years in strategy, insights, or business development roles with demonstrated market impact
- You speak Spanish or Portuguese (advantage for Rio-based role)
- You're a pure analyst who prefers depth over breadth—this role requires connecting dots across insights, strategy, and sales
- You need remote flexibility—this is on-site in Rio de Janeiro
- You're uncomfortable with ambiguity in fast-moving international markets or prefer prescriptive playbooks
- You haven't managed cross-functional teams or influenced senior leadership on strategic decisions
