The Challenge

Global analytics and MarTech firm with 1,000+ delivery team in India is betting on you to build their US market from scratch. You'll be the first US hire with full executive backing, a proven delivery engine, and a blank canvas to scale.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Establish US market presence: Set up operations in one major hub (NY/Chicago/SF) and hire initial 2-3 sales/consulting team members

Land first 2-3 anchor clients: Leverage your CMO/CDO/CXO network to close foundational partnerships worth $500K+ ACV

Develop GTM playbook: Define service offerings, pricing, positioning, and repeatable sales process for US market

4

Build internal alignment: Create operational cadence with India delivery centers for seamless client handoffs and delivery

By 6 Months
1

Scale revenue to $2M+ in booked ARR from initial client wins and pipeline build

Expand US team to 5-8 people (mix of sales, consulting, ops) with clear hiring roadmap for year 2

Establish thought leadership: Publish case studies, speak at industry events, and build brand credibility in US MarTech/CRM space

4

Create repeatable delivery model: Prove ability to deliver complex analytics/CRM projects profitably with offshore team support

KPIs You'll Own

Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR)

Total contracted revenue from US clients, target $2M+ by month 6, $5M+ by year 1

Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)

Sales and marketing spend per customer landed; target payback within 12 months

Sales Pipeline Coverage

Ratio of pipeline to quota; maintain 3-4x minimum to hit targets consistently

Delivery Utilization Rate

Percentage of offshore team billable hours; target 75%+ to ensure profitability

Customer Retention/NRR

Percentage of clients renewing and expanding; target 90%+ retention and 120%+ NRR
