Runpod is the foundational AI infrastructure platform with 500K+ developers and $120M ARR, hitting an inflection point. You'll own paid and organic channels that drive developer acquisition and pipeline at scale—defining strategy from scratch in a space still being built out.
Your Mission
Audit and restructure Google Ads account architecture; establish keyword strategy and bid framework tied to pipeline metrics
Map paid social strategy across LinkedIn, X, and Reddit with initial audience segmentation and creative performance baselines
Conduct technical SEO audit and content gap analysis; prioritize roadmap aligned with product launches
Define AEO strategy and content requirements for ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews; brief internal teams on execution
Scale paid search to 2x efficiency gains through keyword optimization, landing page testing, and bid strategy refinement
Launch and optimize paid social campaigns across 3 platforms with proven audience segments and creative winners
Increase organic search traffic 40%+ through technical SEO fixes, content publishing, and keyword ranking improvements
Establish AEO presence with measurable citations and visibility improvements in 5+ AI-generated answer platforms

Track blended CAC across paid search, paid social, and organic; target efficiency improvements quarter-over-quarter.

Tie digital channel activity to qualified pipeline; measure attribution from first touch through sales conversion.

Monitor monthly sessions from organic search and keyword ranking positions for core AI/infrastructure terms.

Return on ad spend across Google Ads campaigns; optimize for pipeline value, not just clicks.
AEO Citations & Visibility
Track Runpod mentions and citations in AI-generated answers; measure content retrieval frequency and placement.

- You're equally comfortable diving into search query reports and thinking through long-term content and SEO strategy
- You've successfully managed and directed agency partners across multiple channels, holding them accountable to performance targets
- You're excited by emerging channels like AEO (answer engine optimization) and want to define strategy in a nascent but critical channel
- You understand developer marketing and can translate technical AI infrastructure capabilities into compelling messaging
- You need hands-off management or prefer a large team doing the execution—this is individual contributor work with agency oversight, not delegating to 5+ reports
- You haven't worked in B2B SaaS or developer-focused companies; Runpod's audience requires understanding technical buyer psychology
- You view performance marketing and brand as separate silos rather than complementary channels driving both acquisition and awareness
