Head of Marketing
Remote (LATAM or South Africa) | Full-Time | $5,500–$8,000+/month USDAbout Us
We're one of the fastest-growing companies helping U.S. law firms scale with offshore legal talent. Founder-led. Remote-first. No bureaucracy, no fluff — just smart people doing great work at speed.
Marketing is the engine behind our growth, and we're looking for someone to lead it.
The Role
This is a senior leadership role. You'll own marketing end-to-end — strategy, team, budget, and results — reporting directly to the founder.
You'll lead a multi-discipline team: media buyers, SEO specialists, creatives, copywriters, and more. Your job is to set the bar across every channel, hold people accountable, and drive performance through the team you build.
This is a performance marketing operation, and you need to be deeply data-driven. We measure in pipeline, CAC, LTV, ROAS, and payback period — not impressions, reach, or brand lift. Every decision you make — budget allocation, channel mix, creative direction, team performance — needs to be backed by data. You should live in dashboards, know your numbers cold, and be able to diagnose what's broken from the metrics alone.
You don't need to be the best in the world at any single channel, but you do need fluency across all of them: paid media, SEO, content, lifecycle, creative strategy. Your team will look to you to make the right calls when something breaks or a budget needs to shift.
If your background is primarily brand, content, or PR — or if you rely on others to interpret the data for you — this isn't the role.
Why This Role
- Real authority over people, budget, and strategy — no politics, no committees
- Direct line to the founder; your work shapes company direction
- Marketing is tied directly to revenue, so your impact is visible and measurable
- High-trust environment where strong operators get out of the weeds and lead
What You'll Own
- Marketing strategy and performance across every channel — paid, SEO, content, lifecycle, creative
- A multi-discipline team — hiring, managing, developing, and holding people accountable to the bar you set
- Marketing budget allocation and ROI across channels
- Full ownership of marketing analytics, reporting, and KPI tracking — you'll set up the dashboards, define the metrics, and report performance to leadership
- Quality control on creative, copy, and campaign strategy before launch
- Attribution, conversion tracking, and funnel hygiene across the marketing stack
- Systems and processes that make the team faster and sharper over time
- Tight alignment with sales to make sure marketing is driving real pipeline
You're a Strong Fit If You…
- Have 5+ years managing full-time marketing professionals across multiple disciplines (not just freelancers or agencies, not just one channel)
- Have deep performance marketing experience — you've personally owned paid media P&L and know how the funnel works end-to-end
- Are fluent across the full marketing stack: paid, SEO, content, lifecycle, creative — enough to set direction, evaluate work, and coach specialists in each area
- Are fluent in Google Analytics (GA4) and the core paid media platforms — Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads
- Can build reports, set up tracking, and pull insights yourself — not just ask an analyst to do it
- Read campaign data fluently and can diagnose what's broken across any channel from the metrics alone
- Think in pipeline, CAC, LTV, ROAS, and payback — not vanity metrics
- Lead with directness — you give clear feedback and don't avoid hard conversations
- Thrive in a fast, high-accountability environment where the bar is high and excuses don't fly
This Role Isn't for You If…
- You've only managed freelancers or agencies, not full-time marketers
- You've only led one channel (e.g., only paid, only SEO) and don't have working fluency across the others
- Your background is primarily brand, content, or PR
- You're not hands-on in the data — you rely on analysts or specialists to interpret metrics for you
- You avoid difficult conversations with underperformers
- You prefer corporate pace and process
Requirements
- Near-native written and verbal English
- 5+ years managing a full-time, multi-discipline marketing team
- Demonstrated ownership of paid media P&L at a previous company (specify scale in your application)
- Working fluency across paid media, SEO, content, lifecycle, and creative
- Hands-on expertise in Google Analytics (GA4), Google Ads, and Meta Ads Manager
- Proven ability to build reporting and KPI frameworks
- Experience reporting marketing performance to executive stakeholders
Compensation & Benefits
- $5,500–$8,000+/month USD, based on experience
- Annual performance bonus
- Company-sponsored health insurance
- Generous PTO that increases with tenure (up to 30 days per year)
- Anniversary loyalty bonuses (up to 4 months salary)
- Flexible work schedule
- Birthday PTO day
- 7 U.S. paid holidays
- 5 paid sick days per year
- Bereavement leave
- Home office stipend for equipment and workspace upgrades
- Computer replacement stipend
- Monthly internet allowance (increases with tenure)
- Professional development and training programs
- Education support for high performers
- Additional unpaid personal leave
