The Challenge
QIMA Life Sciences is a global preclinical research leader seeking to dominate the Brazilian pharma/biotech market. You'll build the marketing strategy from the ground up, positioning their analytical and clinical development services to branded and generic drug sponsors across Brazil and internationally.
Your Mission
Audit current market position and competitive landscape; define go-to-market strategy with stakeholders
Create 8-10 SEO-optimized Portuguese/English web pages and launch lead magnet campaign targeting pharma decision-makers
Develop sales enablement toolkit: 3 technical presentations, regulatory compliance guides, and pitch decks for ANVISA/ICH-GCP positioning
Establish KOL network: identify and engage 15-20 key opinion leaders in Brazilian pharma/biotech
Execute 2 major conference/trade show campaigns with measurable lead generation and pipeline contribution
Launch monthly scientific newsletter (500+ subscribers) and achieve 25%+ open rates on email campaigns
Deliver 5 technical white papers/articles positioning QIMA services in biosimilars and generic drug development
Track and report on full marketing ROI: cost per lead, conversion rate to sales pipeline, and revenue influence by channel

Email Engagement Rate
Open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates for newsletters and campaign emails
Event ROI
Leads generated per event, cost per lead, and pipeline value influenced by conference participation

Is This Role For You?
- You have an MSc+ in Life Sciences (Pharmacy, Biology, Biotech, Chemistry) and 3-5 years B2B marketing experience in pharma/biotech/CRO
- You speak fluent English, Portuguese, and Spanish—essential for this regional role
- You're energized by translating complex regulatory/technical content into compelling marketing messages for multiple audiences
- You want to own a market segment and build a marketing function from scratch with strategic autonomy
- You're comfortable jumping between sales enablement, content creation, SEO, events, and strategic planning
- You lack scientific background or don't understand drug development/clinical research workflows
- You're not fluent in Portuguese or Spanish—this role requires real-time collaboration with local stakeholders
- You prefer hands-off strategy roles; this requires hands-on execution across content, events, sales support, and measurement
- You're uncomfortable with regulatory compliance details (ANVISA, ICH-GCP, biosimilar positioning)
