The Challenge
Palo Alto Networks is the cybersecurity partner of choice globally—now they need a regional CMO for France and Southern EMEA who can translate global momentum into localized growth. You'll shape marketing strategy, lead a team of 5+, and own the region's revenue impact alongside sales leadership.
Your Mission
Audit current regional marketing performance, competitive positioning, and sales alignment gaps; present findings and 12-month strategy to VP EMEA Marketing
Build trust with sales leadership and key stakeholders across France and SEUR; establish weekly cadence, define shared KPIs, and map segment-specific opportunities
Draft integrated marketing plan for top 2-3 priority segments with budget allocation, campaign calendar, and success metrics
Assess team capabilities, gaps, and development needs; define hiring priorities and begin recruitment for critical roles
Launch 3+ integrated campaigns across priority segments; track pipeline contribution, CAC, and revenue influence vs. global benchmarks
Grow regional marketing team to full capacity (5+ professionals); establish repeatable processes for campaign execution and reporting
Build marketing-sales playbook for France and SEUR including messaging frameworks, account-based marketing programs, and lead scoring models
Establish regional marketing dashboard tracking brand awareness, demand generation, market share, and ROI; present monthly to leadership

Is This Role For You?
- You've led regional or segment marketing teams and love owning revenue outcomes, not just campaigns
- You speak French or have deep EMEA experience; you understand regional nuances and can adapt global playbooks
- You're a business partner to sales—you speak pipeline, win rates, and segment economics, not just impressions
- You're comfortable building something from the ground up; the role is CMO-level, not execution-only
- You thrive in fast-paced B2B SaaS/cybersecurity environments where data-driven decisions and agility matter
- You want a remote or hybrid setup; this role is on-site full-time in Paris
- You lack experience leading marketing teams or regional P&L accountability
