Living Stones Foundation is seeking a visionary Marketing Director (Volunteer) to lead the development and execution of a global marketing and communications strategy that amplifies our mission, programs, and international partnerships.

This role is designed for a strategic marketing leader who understands how to position innovative initiatives, build meaningful engagement, and drive digital growth across diverse audiences in the United States, Canada, and Latin America.

Position Overview As Marketing Director, you will oversee the Foundation’s global marketing, branding, and communications efforts. You will work closely with leadership, project managers, developers, and strategic partners to strengthen brand positioning, expand visibility, and communicate measurable impact through compelling storytelling and digital campaigns.

This role requires both strategic vision and executional leadership, with an emphasis on innovation, cross-cultural communication, and mission-driven growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesBrand Strategy & Positioning

  • Develop and strengthen the brand identity of Living Stones Foundation and its flagship initiatives, including Volunteer Metrics Hub and CultiveConnect.

Craft compelling messaging that communicates innovation, measurable impact, and faith-driven values. Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels, including websites, social media, partnerships, and public relations materials.

Digital Marketing & Campaign Development

  • Design and execute integrated digital marketing strategies to increase visibility and engagement across North America and Latin America.
  • Lead campaigns focused on volunteer engagement, donor outreach, partnership development, and community growth.

Oversee content strategy across social media, newsletters, blogs, and multimedia platforms.

Growth Strategy & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Develop communication strategies that strengthen relationships with universities, nonprofit partners, investors, volunteers, and international collaborators.
  • Analyze marketing KPIs and campaign performance to optimize growth and engagement strategies.
  • Support fundraising initiatives, grant visibility campaigns, and partnership expansion efforts.

Innovation & Digital Integration

  • Collaborate with innovation and data teams to integrate marketing initiatives with AI, digital transformation, and data-driven insights.

Explore machine learning and automation tools to improve audience targeting, outreach effectiveness, and engagement. Help design scalable communication frameworks that can be replicated across partner nonprofit organizations.

QualificationsRequired

Background in Marketing, Communications, Digital Business, Public Relations, or related fields. Proven experience in digital marketing strategy, branding, and communications leadership. Strong storytelling, copywriting, and content development skills. Experience with digital marketing platforms and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Ads, LinkedIn, and email marketing systems. Ability to lead integrated campaigns for international and multicultural audiences. Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).

Preferred

Experience in digital transformation, AI, machine learning, or data-driven innovation projects. Familiarity with nonprofit communications, fundraising campaigns, or social impact initiatives. Knowledge of tools such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, Slack, Canva, Trello, or ClickUp. Experience working with international or cross-cultural teams.

Location: Remote Commitment: Flexible schedule (minimum 20 hours per week) Meetings: Biweekly (30-45 minutes) Duration: Minimum 3-month commitment with potential extension Languages: English and Spanish required
