The Challenge
LexisNexis is accelerating its digital transformation as generative AI reshapes search. You'll own the complete digital experience—from SEO strategy to conversion optimization—while building the brand's visibility in both traditional search and AI-generated answers.
Your Mission
Audit current SEO/GEO performance across owned digital properties and identify quick wins for organic traffic gains
Establish baseline KPI dashboards for traffic, conversion rates, and GEO visibility in generative search results
Define and socialize integrated SEO + GEO strategy aligned with LexisNexis product roadmap and RELX group standards
Lead first content audit and prioritization framework to optimize for generative AI indexation and citation
Deliver 20%+ increase in organic traffic and measurable uplift in GEO visibility across target AI engines
Launch and optimize 3+ high-impact CRO experiments with documented lift in conversion rates and customer value
Implement end-to-end digital governance framework with IT, security, and product teams for RGPD and tracking compliance
Build reusable content playbooks and technical SEO templates scaled across digital properties and shared with RELX group
KPIs You'll Own
Organic Traffic Growth
Month-over-month increase in qualified organic visitors from traditional search and generative AI results.
Conversion Rate by Channel
Track conversion funnel performance from organic acquisition through purchase/signup, with focus on GEO-sourced traffic.
Brand Authority Signals
Monitor backlinks, domain authority, citation frequency in AI-generated responses, and content indexation rates.
GEO Visibility Index
Proprietary measure of brand presence and citation quality in responses from ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other generative engines.
CRO Experimentation Velocity
Number of A/B tests launched, completion rate, and average lift per experiment.
Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
Cost to acquire new customers via organic channels, benchmarked against paid and other marketing sources.

Is This Role For You?
- You've led SEO or digital experience strategy in B2B SaaS or enterprise software with measurable revenue impact
- You combine technical SEO depth with CRO chops and understand conversion funnel optimization end-to-end
- You're fluent in generative AI implications for search and content strategy (not just traditional Google SEO)
- You thrive owning platforms and dashboards—you're as comfortable in Google Analytics as you are explaining strategy to C-level
- You speak French professionally or are willing to work in French-speaking environment
- You view SEO narrowly as keyword ranking; you need to understand business metrics and bottom-line impact
- You prefer specialist depth (e.g., only link building or only technical SEO) over end-to-end digital ownership
- You can't operate effectively in matrix organizations or require deep autonomy without cross-functional collaboration
- Generative AI and GEO strategy feel like buzzwords to you rather than a genuine strategic priority
