Accountabilities:
Define and lead the AI Optimization (AIO) strategy, including operating model, roadmap, and integration with SEO, content, PR, and product marketing.
Build and manage systems to measure AI visibility and citation performance across platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, and similar engines.
Develop content engineering frameworks to ensure web assets are structured, retrievable, and optimized for LLM citation and extraction.
Design and execute a cross-channel citation strategy in partnership with PR, analyst relations, social media, and customer marketing teams.
Monitor competitive AI visibility and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities across generative search ecosystems.
Establish dashboards, KPIs, and reporting cadences to track AIO performance and executive-level insights.
Act as a subject matter expert and internal educator on AI search, supporting enablement, documentation, and external thought leadership.
Requirements:
3-5 years of hands-on experience in AI search optimization, GEO/AEO, LLMO, prompt engineering, or AI-driven search strategy.
Strong understanding of LLM mechanics including RAG, embeddings, hallucinations, grounding, and model behavior.
Solid technical SEO foundation, including structured data, site architecture, crawlability, indexation, and performance optimization.
Experience with AI visibility or citation tracking tools (or equivalent custom-built analytics solutions).
Hands-on experience working with major LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot) for research and optimization workflows.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in GA4, Search Console, KPI design, and advanced spreadsheet analysis (SQL a plus).
B2B marketing experience in SaaS, technology, or cybersecurity environments with complex buyer journeys.
Strong independent thinking, with the ability to define a new discipline and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
