Accountabilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs that power customer-facing websites and marketing platforms, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.

  • Develop and manage integrations between marketing systems such as CRM and marketing automation tools, enabling seamless and accurate data flow.

  • Contribute to database design, optimization, and maintenance to support marketing and customer data needs.

  • Build and support cloud-based services and third-party integrations using modern backend technologies and architectures.

  • Optimize backend systems for speed, stability, and scalability while troubleshooting and resolving production issues as they arise.

  • Collaborate closely with front-end developers, designers, and marketing stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital experiences.

  • Document systems, APIs, and processes clearly, ensuring maintainability and knowledge sharing across teams.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in backend development, API design, or server-side engineering roles.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Hands-on experience with backend technologies such as Python (Django/Flask), Node.js, Ruby, or similar frameworks.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, including services such as Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB.

  • Understanding of marketing technology ecosystems, including CRM and marketing automation platforms (Marketo, Salesforce, or similar) is a strong plus.

  • Exposure to modern web architectures such as JAMstack, composable systems, or API-driven environments.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

  • Experience or interest in using AI tools to improve development workflows and productivity.
